POL 300: Conducting Independent Research in Political Science (Fall 2023)
This is an introductory course on research design in political science. It prepares undergraduate students to conduct independent research as part of their Junior Independent Work (JIW) requirement (for Politics majors).
POL 396: International Organizations (Spring 2024, Spring 2025)
This course introduces students to global and regional organisations, including the United Nations, World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, World Health Organisation, European Union, Asian Development Bank, and the African Development Bank. It also considers the rise of new organisations led by emerging powers, like China's Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
POL 392: American Foreign Policy (Fall 2024)
This course explores American foreign relations, focusing on both historical and contemporary issues in U.S. foreign policy. It is designed as an introductory-level survey class to explore America's role in the world.
Future Africa
Politics and Public Policy in Africa (2020-2021)
This 8-month course explored governance and corruption, elections and democracy, and public policy in Africa using seminar discussions, case studies, and simulation workshops. This course was taught as part of the Future Africa Fellowship programme.
